Financial Planner
Joan joined TGS in 1991 and held many positions in the years following, including trader and operations manager. Her current role includes preparing clients’ annual progress reports and other analytic documents. Joan is a graduate of the University of Rochester.
Joan lives in West Chester, where she and her husband homeschool their sons, Kevin and Matt. They have two cairn terriers, Rough and Ready.

Q: What would you never leave home without?
A: The book I'm reading.
Q: What's your favorite book/publication/blog/etc.?
A: I love Raymond Carver, Chekhov, Barbara Kingsolver and homeschoolishappening.blogspot.com.
Q: If you were stranded on a desert island, what's the one food you couldn't live without?
A: Good soup
Q: Where have you traveled? Where do you dream of traveling?
A: My family hikes in Maine every year, and we also enjoy the Outer Banks each year. I'd like to see more of the states, especially Hawaii again.
